PROBLEM STATEMENT
North Nashville has been impacted by racism that influences policies and
structural harm for present and future generations. This has caused intentional fragmentation of systems and organizations which has restricted access to resources needed to address poverty, crime, food insecurity, unemployment, drugs, health disparities, etc.
VISION
Build a resilient, empowered, and self-sustaining North Nashville by addressing structural inequities, fostering economic opportunity, improving health outcomes, and increasing community capacity.
Goal
Establish a resilient, community-led infrastructure in North Nashville that supports health, job opportunities, affordable housing, youth advancement, and local stewardship, promoting sustainable growth and reducing health disparities.
Intervention
We aim to build a connected system of one-stop shop physical and virtual care hubs that supports and connects residents to resources and aligns resources in the community.
